From 1st to 22nd March (end of day CET) 2026 we are accepting submissions for our 13th issue
The names of 5 selected writers will be announced on Monday 6th April 2026
The submitted work must meet all of the following criteria:
1). Fiction in nature (no poems, essays, etc.) and is written in- or translated to English.
2). The opening paragraphs of a developed story (in other words, they must come from a story you have already written more than just the first page; ideally from a completed story).
3). Between 250 and 350 words.
4). Saved in .pdf (Times New Roman, 12pt, double spacing) with the following file name format: last name_first name_the title of the work (Example: camus_albert_a happy death.pdf)
5). Please do not include your name or personal information anywhere on the actual work.
6). We accept works that were previously published, however, the submitter/author is solely responsible for any needed agreement and communication with their publisher.
7). Written by human, submitter must disclose any AI or other technologies involvement.
8). The submitter (author) was not previously published by first page.
9). Maximum 2 submissions per author.
The selected writers would each receive 5 copies of the magazine in print.
