As first page has reached the 12th issue we couldn't help but wonder what we can do for this occasion. The answer was simple - celebrate the first pages as we always do, but with a different form - a book!
The book, first page vol. 1, is set to be a 122x197mm, hardback book with debossed letters on the cover and approx. 128 pages featuring all of the 60 brilliant first pages published in the magazine's issues #01 to #12.
As an independent publishing house, we need help from literature enthusiasts, culturally engaged individuals, firms and organisations that are keen to aid new writers of talent to make this special print run a reality.
Our goal of €6,800 covers the manufacturing and fulfilment costs of the project.
Back us launching first page vol.1 means you are supporting and validating the writers who contributed to the magazine's past 12 issues and at the same time encouraging new writers to continue writing. Plus, it is going to be a beautiful book!
So, whether you are a reader that has always been fascinated by the first page of a story, or a writer that polishes their first page to a T, or you simply love this book project and the concept behind it, we urge you to pledge and, together, bring this book to life!
